To achieve this, I stay current with the latest AI tools for creativity and productivity, learning each new tool as it emerges. I strive to understand and master any popular AI tool to enhance my creative work.
Tools and Tech
Some of my favorite tools so far include ChatGPT, which I use for custom GPTs and general queries, and Midjourney for generating art and visual artifacts. I also rely on Topaz Labs for enhancing video and photo quality, and I explore every AI advancement released in Adobe’s suite. I’ve even experimented with AI music generation for my projects. While I’ve tried various repackaged versions of ChatGPT that offer unique benefits, I find that ChatGPT itself meets most of my creative needs.
Uses
I use generative AI extensively for ideation, wireframing, image and logo generation, graphic design, artifact creation, light coding and HTML, image enhancement, and various video tools, alongside Adobe’s integrated features. Additionally, AI enhances my writing, simplifying copy generation for any application I may need.
Reflections
I love using AI to enhance my creative process; it allows me to work faster and more efficiently. While it can sometimes feel unsettling as AI takes over tasks I once charged for, I focus on pushing my work even further by leveraging these tools to simplify and elevate the entire process.
AI Refinement
Here, I’m showcasing the AI-generated version of a logo I created alongside the professionally refined final version. While the two logos appear similar at first glance, there’s a distinct difference—the left logo looks good, but the right one looks professional. The extra attention I invested in refining the AI-generated logo, enhancing its details, and elevating it to a more premium standard is what will make it stand out and resonate as a brand representation.
In my experience, most AI-generated designs require this final touch to achieve their best form. Rarely does an AI output come through without needing a bit of extra work, and I genuinely enjoy perfecting these initial AI drafts. It feels empowering to bring my ideas to life five times faster than before, transforming AI-generated content into polished, professional pieces.
